Intersex is a term to describe a wide variety of sexes that do not fit the sex binary. Now, I’m usually the last to say “we can’t use sex terms for gender!” but intersex isn’t a gender and intersex people can have any gender, they can even be cis.

If we want to say GSSM: Gender, Sex, and Sexuality Minorities- We need to ask people from the intersex community. A lot of them. Try to do polls on as many forums for intersex people and such as possible. And, we have to be prepared to do work for the intersex community. We can’t throw them in just as a “look at how accepting we are!” and hten not to do the legwork.

It is unacceptable for non-intersex people to force labels onto intersex people. Check our privilege, y’all.

We also have to take into account that, unlike LGBT, GSM technically includes cis heterosexual non-intersex women because they are a gender minority.
