Cissexism and heterosexism are ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ALIKE.

Like… there isn’t, as far as I can tell, an LGBT community.  There’s a cLG that’s occasionally just a cG and likes to pretend the B and the T don’t exist and god help you if you’re one of the numerous gender/sexuality related categories that aren’t in that acronym.

And like… I don’t see adding new letters on the end solving the problem.  The problem is not the problem, it’s, at least as far as the short form of that acronym goes, at least three different problems (heterosexism; monosexism, cissexism) and LUMPING THEM ALL TOGETHER DOESN’T HELP THE LESS PRIVILEGED VARIETIES THERE.

I mean seriously there is no word for my sexual orientation.  You can’t solve that level of erasure by adding, for example, a K (don’t ask me why K, I just picked a letter; no word, remember? :P) on the acronym.

This just pretty much sums up why I don’t like being lumped in with the non-het sexualities. Plus there’s the fact that people seem to think that trans*-ness is a sexuality, or if you’re trans* then you’re automatically [x] sexuality, which is just… ugh.
